Etobicoke 55+ Slo-Pitch League Spare Players

We have the following "spare" players; they should be booked in the following order of precedence, keeping rating of player to be replaced, and the spare, in mind.

Spare usage rules:

• Teams with 12 players or less for a game are expected to pick up a spare player for that game.
• The spare player used must not be rated higher than the player they are replacing, but use some common sense in the round-robin so the spares get to play (they paid their money). Spare usage in the playoffs requires agreement of the Commissioner and/or the non-involved captains.
• Spares can only be "booked" more than 1 game in advance if a team will have fewer than 11 players for that game.
• Spares will normally be allocated to the team most shorthanded.
• The team captain should contact the spare to let him/her know what team and diamond to show up.
