ETOBICOKE SENIOR SLO-PITCH ASSOCIATION (ESSA)

To All ESSA Registered Players:

We are now a few weeks from the first scheduled game of our 29^th ESSA season!

The current registration is 108 players with 8 spares.

We would like to introduce and to thank our 2 new captains who have stepped up to ensure we have 8 teams this season: George Cushing and Eric Burton, both who have been with the league these past 5 years.

The Board has been working on some of the processes and changes to improve the playing experience of the league. We will cover these changes at our Spring Meeting.

Please note the following dates and times:

Monday, May 9^th two sessions at 9:15 am & 10:30 am respectively. They will be held at Dunton Athletic Fields.. Rookie Camp is for all new players, and those that haven’t played recently.

The rainout date will be Wednesday, May 10t^h.

Monday, May 16^th at 10:00 am is our Annual Spring Meeting to be held at the Centennial Park Ski Chalet. At this time the captains will take the opportunity to meet with their teams and provide you with all the information you need for the season and distribute team sweaters.

Wednesday May 18^th are scheduled practices, times and fields can be found on the website.

Wednesday May 25^th regular season games begin at 9:45 am.

Our hope is that we can all work together to make this a fun season, while promoting good sportsmanship and friendly competition.
