The Social Convenor arranges all social events of the Etobicoke Senior Slo-Pitch Association.

Job Description

1. Help organize the Spring Meeting BBQ (if BBQ is not contracted out) and assist in social activities.
2. Help in the organizing of the Fall Banquet and General Meeting.
3. Determine the number of players attending functions and type of meals requested.
4. Determine the number of guests attending functions and collect money before the banquet as there will be no refunds.
5. Prepare a list of who will be attending the functions - players and special guests.
6. Make out and distribute meal tickets at the door of the functions.
7. Collect money at BBQ and give proceeds to Association Treasurer.
8. Maintain records of all expenses and submit to Association Treasurer.
9. Prepare function signup sheets for Captains.
10. Prepare and send out get well and sympathy cards to Association members (immediate family).
11. Assists the Commissioner with Association social activities as requested.
