ESSA Job Description - Tournaments

Identifies opportunities for players from the Etobicoke Senior Slo-Pitch Association to participate in tournaments held in various locations in Ontario. Most tournaments are held on Fridays and are normally one day only.

Job Description

1. Work with the Tournament Directors from other tournament areas and gather all information available.
2. Recruit players for tournaments - a workable number of players is 12 or 13.
3. Make sure all tournament players receive hand out regarding all information and directions.
4. Collect and pay tournament fee.
5. Make out lineups for games with equal sit-outs and a rolling batting order as a general guideline.
6. Hand out sweaters for tournament play and collect same at the end of the tournament.
7. Report on all tournaments played and upcoming to the Board of Directors.
