NOT GETTING ASSOCATION E-MAILS? CHECK YOUR 'JUNK EMAIL' FOLDER / 'BLOCKED SENDERS' LIST.

There have been reports of players not getting the ESSA e-mails; these appear to be mainly Gmail / Hotmail / Outlook users. Check your 'Junk' folder and mark the e-mail(s) as 'Not Junk' so they appear in your 'Inbox'.
You should also remove all sender addresses like 'XXX@rubberchickencult.ca' from your 'Blocked Senders' list; click here to find out how to check / fix this.
If you still can't find them, they are being dropped without notification by Microsoft, and the only solution is to get an e-mail address with a more reasonable provider.

GMAIL USERS - CHECK YOUR 'SPAM' FOLDER

For Gmail, some messages from the Association may end up in your 'Spam' folder. If that is happening, you can create a filter so that mail from 'XXX@rubberchickencult.ca' is never sent to 'Spam'. To do that:
  1. Find a message from me in any mailbox.
  2. Click on the 3 vertical dots in the icon bar above the message (it will pop up a label 'More').
  3. Click on 'Filter messages like these'.
  4. Click on 'Create filter' (don't fill in any of the other fields).
  5. Select 'Never send it to Spam'.
  6. Click on 'Create filter'.

HOTMAIL USERS - CHECK YOUR 'JUNK EMAIL' FOLDER

For Hotmail, some messages from the Association may end up in your 'Junk Email' folder. If that is happening, you can create a filter so that mail from 'XXX@rubberchickencult.ca' is never sent to 'Spam'. To do that:
  1. Click on the 'Settings' icon (cog wheel).
  2. Click on 'View all Outlook settings' at the bottom.
  3. Click on 'Mail'.
  4. Click on 'Junk email'.
  5. In the 'Safe senders and domains' section, click on 'Add'.
  6. Fill in the box with 'XXX@rubberchickencult.ca' where 'XXX' is the person you want to mark as a safe sender (e.g. 'mikep' or 'essa').
  7. Hit the Enter key to add it to the list.
  8. Click on 'Save'.
A similar option may be available to Outlook users.
